It carries the motion of the ocean
And has the effect of a calming potion
It is the color of the sky
That holds stars way up high
Its the color of a big rain drop
It can also be a balloon that's about to pop
Its associated with the cold of the night
It can also be the cause of a wonderful sight
Its the color you wear when your sad
But that by no means makes this color all bad
It is the color of a violet and more
It makes up most of the world we explore
This color is way down low and way up high
It is our ocean it is our sky
It is wonderful this much is true
That color that is the world of blue
